Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,
It is an honor and a privilege to introduce myself as the Interim Principal of Loma Portal Elementary School. I am excited to work alongside our students, families, and staff to support every child's success.
I have been an Elementary School Administrator for the past 15 years in SDUSD, as well as neighboring districts within Southern California. I am originally from the east coast, but have spent as much time here in California, as I did growing up in New York. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, cooking, photography, and spending time with my family.
Throughout my career, I have focused on fostering academic growth, building meaningful relationships with students and families, and encouraging lifelong learning. I truly believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a thriving school, and genuinely feel that every student deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported each day. With that being said, students are most successful when schools and families work together as partners.
I look forward to getting to know each of you, and learning about the traditions, strengths, and aspirations that make Loma Portal ES unique. Together, we will continue to build on the foundations of a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring place where students are encouraged to be curious, compassionate, and confident learners.
